Slashed Seat Affair are fresh from putting the finishing touches to their debut album due to be released later this year.Featuring powerful vocals, showers of almighty drumming and riff driven melodies, their radio friendly sound is based around the potent songwriting partnership of lead vocalist Ellie Mules and bass player/guitarist Darren Michael. Drummer Rob Meehan adds the aggressive backbone to the bands sound. Slashed Seat Affair, who are signed to indie label Fill The Void Records have been working with producer Phil Tyreman since early 2007 after he heard the band on an internet radio station. Tyreman’s credits include Seal, The Darkness, Velvet Revolver and Belle & Sebastian amongst others, plus a stint working alongside legendary British producer Trevor Horn.Listen and enjoy!
