In an alternative music scene dominated by style-over-substance monotone indie rock, Silent Alliance stand out as one of the few bands that can truly claim to be a unique proposition. Silent Alliance have created an intelligent, guitar-driven pop sound that combines both the euphoric and hugely danceable with the reflective and melancholic. It's a sound inspired by some of the greatest pioneers of pop music - New Order, The Smiths, Depeche Mode - each given an explosive, adrenaline-fuelled kick onto the dancefloor. Having made their live debut in 2006, Silent Alliance have quickly risen through the local ranks and can now be found gracing the bill at some of London's most highly-thought-of alternative night spots. Guaranteed to rouse audiences wherever they go, the band's energy, enthusiasm and musical ingenuity surely make them destined for big things.

the story so far...
best industry quotes
"Intelligent, sophisticated, wistful guitar led indie pop with an infectious, indelible melodic core that channels the spirit of Paddy McAloon (Prefab Sprout ) via Difford & Tilbrook (Squeeze ) and ends up sounding like a uniquely British take on The Shins intelligent adult oriented pop."
"If Indie-Disco-Pop were an established scene, this lot would be the front runners. Drawing inspiration from 80s Indie giants, Silent Alliance have added a hugely danceable Disco-Pop twist to proceedings."
"With a pop melody style that directly linked together the brightest qualities of the Cure, the total energy of Suede, or even the Smiths themselves in their fastest songs, the young quintet from London displayed their fresh and "danceable" credentials in a session that was brief and left no time to yawn."
