Ryofu was born in the North East of England coming from a hard, tough, gangster background, with the male side of her family part of the underworld in London. She spent most of her early years travelling around the country with her father who was part of the Joe Loss orchestra. In her early 20's she moved back to Northumberland. She has rebelled very strongly against her background and has worked on an Anti bullying Campaigns in schools across the country. Which has proved to be a great success. Due to the use of the Northumbrian small pipes within metal music. She has recieved threats from purists, branding her the Princess Of Darkness. Having been attacked on stage and in the street.
