Plastic Toys formed in late 2003 from members of various bands who met gigging throughout the UK. With the line-up in place the band have been writing and recording their debut album, set for release late 2007. Plastic Toys have been gigging across the south, developing a stunningly professional and energetic live show, which has won them a solid reputation and loyal following. The early self produced demos in 2004 caught the attention of producer Andy Gray (Korn, U2, Tori Amos), who offered to work on this track - 'Let Me Feel The Love', the band's first single - release date July 23rd.The ever increasing fanbase reaction to this song convinced the band that they should film a promo video - with the hardcore female fans themselves featuring in it (which they were more than happy to do).Local and university radio have picked up on the track and continue to receive more requests each week to play 'Let Me Feel The Love' and other Plastic Toys songs. A copy was sent into Radio 1's One Music, an unsigned band showcase where listeners get to vote on their favourite songs. Within 10 days Plastic Toys had received enough votes to be at number 2 in the rock chart where they stayed for 3 months, peaking at No.1 during Christmas 2004.The word has spread across the Atlantic too, with interest from US labels as well as radio and online marketing companies. Plastic Toys have now been heard on the radio in NY, LA and Texas, creating new international fans and enquiries every week. After being offered contracts by UK indie labels and major production companies alike, Plastic Toys have opted at this stage to strike out on their own, setting up the label Hill Valley Records.
