Review – Pendulum, Leeds Festival, NME Stage, Friday

Pendulum played a hugely vigorous set at Leeds’ Festival’s NME Stage, showcasing the finest mainstream drum ‘n’ bass to a packed to the brim arena.
With many fans having to settle for a spot outside the tent, the Aussies launched into first track ‘Intro’, with leader Rob Swire leaping around the stage, enticing violent mosh-pits.
'Voodoo People’ and ‘Propane Nightmares’, both off recent album ‘In Silico’, proved to be massively popular, with fans chanting along to the tune whilst letting loose in the circle-pit.
The chaotic crowd showed no sign of letting up throughout the set, and Swire then instructed them to make a huge circle right in front of the stage, then begin dancing when the beat to final song ‘Hold Your Colour’ kicked in.
