DEBATE...Are Pendulum good or bad for drum and bass? Many purists argue that the genre should stay underground but is bringing it to a new mainstream audience good???? What do you think????
Pendulum
"Intelligent Dance Floor Music"
Pendulum was formed in 2002 in Australia by Arscenic, Speed and Elhornet. Their music has the ability to tear the dance floor apart and yet to also have a deep long lasting impact. From the three members’ collaboration was first released ‘Vault’, which Knowledge Magazine acknowledged as the Best single of 2003.Pendulum relocated to the UK this same year 2003 and joined Adam F and Dj Fresh’s Breakbeat Kaos label. The first single they released from the UK contained the two monumental tracks ‘Another Planet’ and ‘Voyager’: the single became number 1 in the UK National Dance charts. In 2004 Pendulum released their debut LP which also was granted ‘the one to watch’ by MixMag Magazine. Pendulum are now playing all around the world.

Pendulum at T in the Park 2008
This lot ripped the place up. They may not be everyones cup of tea but they impressed me with their hardcore, high energy drum and bass. Propane Nightmares had people moshing like there was no tomorrow and The Other Side was a treat. One of the highlights of the weekend.
