''Partisan are a London band conceived by Gaz, Dave and Mike in a Tufnell Park basement in early 2007. By the end of the year they were celebrating the digital release of debut single ‘Ship of Fools’, a perfectly formed pop tablet with pounding drums and sumptuous choruses that cannot fail to navigate the foulest mood away from danger.

Likened to the inimitable figures of Nick Cave & Jeff Buckley they have recently been described as ‘enchanting... and sharing that rare quality of true originality’. This year they have been pounding their wares across London from performing and hosting the unsigned night at The Strongroom in Shoreditch, to gigs at both the bar and main stages of the Carling Academy Islington to rapturous response.

Along the way they have picked up a nomination for this years ‘Indy Awards’, progressed to the 2nd Round of the Surface Unsigned Festival and have recently emerged from the studio with two new tracks.
