Moss are a 3 piece based in London. Erik, the Guitarist/Singer grew up in Japan, but has been playing his music around the UK for about 8 years as a solo artist. He met Alex, the Bass player mongrel, in January '08 when a mutual friend put them in touch with each other knowing they were both looking for a band. Before long, they met up with Finnur, a drummer from Iceland, and the band was born. With influences as wide ranging as Prince, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Blood Sweat and Tears and Holst(!) it can be quite difficult to pigeon-hole Moss' music, but they have been described as a cross between N*E*R*D, Jeff Buckley, and Jane's Addiction. As well as playing gigs at venues around London they also host their own monthly 'Moss & Friends' night at The Good Ship in Kilburn.
