Born into a show business family in Newcastle upon Tyne 17 December 1986, Jamie Squire has been involved in music and the arts all his life. A multi instrumentalist and songwriter, he plays piano, guitar, bass and drums. A love of all genres has now developed into a passion for song writing. Influences include John Mayer, Jason Mraz and many others. His recently recorded demo cd includes ‘Another Town’ ‘Old Days’ and ‘Simple Lives’, three lyrically connected songs showing Jamie’s emotional understanding and inventiveness to harness a situation and develop it into a piece of music. With appearances from North East Indie venues in ‘Blueroom’ to sharing the stage with Brian Johnston (ACDC), John Miles, Rick Wakeman and Alan Clark (Dire Straits) as an individual performer, Jamie has gained invaluable experience in the music business and continues to learn more and more as he moves deeper into the industry. An energetic and charismatic personality, Jamie brings that indefinable something special to each performance.His Band:Richard DudleyRichard has played rock, jazz and classical music in a variety of bands and orchestras including the Northumberland County Jazz Orchestra. He has played in a variety of countries including Hungary, Holland, France, Italy, Belguim and the USA, where he studied under Kim Gast at St Cloud University.As well as gaining a degree in music at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and Grade 8 Guitar with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Richard is also heavily involved in session work for recording studios in the Northeast – his latest project was recording for a recent TV drama “Rocket Man”.Close friends with Jamie, he seemed the obvious choice when the band was being put together.Tom BaconSince graduating from The University of Newcastle in 2003 with a degree in Music, Tom has worked professionally in several bands and performed throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, playing at many high profile venues and events including Blackpool Tower and The Royal Hotel, Scarborough, supporting boy band ‘Blue’Like other members of the band, Tom is a multi-instrumentalist, playing a host of instruments including Clarinet and Piano in addition to Drums and Percussion. His proficiency in these other instruments has led to him performing in an assortment of ensembles including Wind Bands and Orchestras as well as solo clarinet recitals.Tom’s close friendship with Jamie, his consistent and reliable nature and his effortless grasp and understanding of different genres of music, has led to him being Jamie’s first choice drummer.Ben SquireAs Jamie’s big brother, Ben has overseen his growing talent from birth!Song writing, playing guitar and performing with various bands and line ups, Ben has been involved in music since his formative years. He too has performed on stage with Brian Johnston, John Miles, Rick Wakeman and Alan Clark. Ben and Jamie have that thing that brothers have; a connection that lets them write songs together and understand what the other wants from the music/lyric.Following his degree in Music Production, Ben has concentrated on creating the desired sound for the band, producing their early demos. His quiet personality hides a strong and determined character whose desire for success for the band is relentless.
