Glöd is a Swedish word that more or less means glowing embers but is also synonymous for passion, heat and enthusiasm. As a child I used to spend hours staring into the glöd, just like our ancestors have done since prehistory. Glöd (and fiire) is our first and most important technology that brought us together, kept us warm and kept us alive. Now, when ever I can I relive this ancient rite to keep me warm, alive and to bring myself together. My motivation for playing music stems back to my early childhood. When I was starting to get my bearings I soon realized that the world was in a very bad way and that something needed to be done about it. At the age of 15 I saw the Swedish artist Ulf Lundell play and I was amazed with the way he delivered a message of solidarity, love and freedom through his music and I knew then that this was what I was to do.
