Dashboard Confessional have released eight albums since their formation on 1999. The highest selling was their 2002 'MTV Unplugged' album, which went platinum. The band play classic alternative rock influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, REM and U2. Although the bands roots lie with Chris Carrabba's acoustic roots, they record as a four piece, with John Lefler (guitar), Scott Shoenbeck (bass) and Mike Marsh (drums) all contributing. They are regulars on the festival circuit and are due to release an album this autumn.
