what a gig Saturday! Best band of the night, more memorable than the Automatic, they should have been supporting you. Halfway through their set people were shouting "Dandelions, Dandelions!" LMAO!!

Dandelion Killers
"Unique rock with a twist. Take a listen."
The Dandelion Killers formed on a rainy Wednesday evening in the autumn of 2004, when there was nothing to watch on television. The collaboration of the three musicians from Herefordshire proved to produce a great chemistry and made for one of the most energetic, powerful and exiting bands around. Armed with a huge and ever growing repertoire of catchy original material, the band’s constant gigging has led to them being referred to as ‘Veterans of the local circuit’ and local shows never fail to pull in large audiences of dedicated, loyal and enthusiastic fans. But their following extends much further than the edges of their home county. Last year saw the trio playing nationwide in various, renowned venues in London (The Boarderline and The Marquee Club), Bristol (The Louisianna and The Fleece), Cardiff (Buffalo Bar and Zync), Oxford (Jericho Tarvern) and Liverpool (Zanzibar), as well playing mini tours throughout North Wales and the Midlands. They’ve played with many respected and signed acts like Neil’s Children, Fortune Drive, Dartz, The Anomalies, The Mules and Attic Lights. Recently playlisted on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 music, the band have done several live sessions, have regular airplay and interviews on BBC Hereford & Worcester, as well as other local and internet stations. The Dandelion Killers have also had multiple appearances and praise in NME and other music publications. Currently recording at the legendary Rockfield Studios, (home of Queen, Black Sabbath, Supergrass, Motorhead, Oasis, Coldplay) and with record label interest, the band are constantly striving and moving on to bigger and better things. "Ones to look out for…" NME "A cracking slice of quintessential psychedelic indie." NME "They have enough dynamics and strong tunes to be a national treasure." Neil Crud, Bar Blu "Grab you by your hair and set fire to your ears!" BBC Hereford & Worcester

Dandelion Killers Review – Tourdates A&R Night – The Borderline London
Fresh from slaughtering innocent plant-life out in the sticks (actually they are Killer Dandelions not Dandelion Killers, reality is weird) they bounded on stage only to continue the mayhem by slicing up some of the freshest sweetest riffs ever to grace a deliciously cynical London crowd. They melted the hearts of most in attendance and started some rumblings of approval amongst the Independent labels enjoying the free bar. Distracting hardened A&R types from their pints is no mean feat, it’s positively evil. The Dandelion Killers lived up to their ever more buzz-worthy name, a pleasure indeed.
The men of Ross
For some time now my partner has been interested in clairvoyance and spirituality, regularly holding closed circle sessions at our house where they talk to the 'other side'. To say that I'm a skeptic is an understatement in the extreme; it's really not something I would ever consider seriously without some serious proof. Last night, Saturday 8th Sept '07, I went to the Barrel in Ross-on-Wye, or Doss-on-Die as we locals sometimes call it, specifically to see DLK. After having a quick chat with their lead singer, Adam, over a coke, and then seeing this relatively mild & humble chap take the stage I've started to question all this clairvoyance nonsense. Put a guitar in his hand and a mic in front of him and I swear he gets possessed! I last saw them in the Borderline on Tottenham Court Road in Dec '06, boy have they improved. I woke this morning with the lyrics to the anthemic 'Going Under' ringing in my ears and vague recollections of half the pub screaming for more until they did an encore! Viva Ross Vegas! The DLK are highly recommend should you be privileged enough to get the chance. Sgt Snafu, over & out.
DLK @ The Marquee
Having seen Dandelion Killers in September it was great to have them back on the tourdates A&R stage and equally fitting that such an energetic band open our evening at the Marquee. Adam (lead vocals\guitar) broke a string on the penultimate number and it was great to see how StJohn (Bass) & Paul (Drums) covered whilst he changed guitars. A slick, tight, performance even with an added bit of pressure. The crowd loved them, I love them, see them up close and personal now, before the closest you can get is a 20ft video screen at a summer festival. Sgt Snafu over & out.
Bugbear bookings
This is what Bugbear bookings have written about our gig at the Dublin Castle coming up on Friday 18th July '08 DANDELION KILLERS- From Ross on Wye, a jollied up bunch of post grunge semi hairies with a cheeky powerpop sound that recalls The Small Faces and Supergrass. Can’t be bad...proper songwriting talent and groovy playing. This is a clever band. Great Brit rock a boogoie..The Kinks, Slade even a touch of Suede on ‘Bad Saturday’ [via Dexys]...Happening!!
