Dom Jones was born on 11/12/88, into a town just outside of Bristol called Midsomer Norton. Taking an interest in music from an early age, he first picked up a guitar around the age of 14, and playing in various bands, performing in pubs and community centres until leaving school. He then managed to acquire a set of decks and a few drum and bass vinyl, and stopped strumming in order to concentrate more on dj'ing.

Many House parties and mixtapes later, he switched from Drum and Bass to Breakbeat and Dubstep, and the name Sk was born. Dj'ing in pubs and clubs around the south-west, forming Norton Dub Brigade (www.myspace.com/nortondubbrigade) with fellow Dj/Producer Mistabit.

Although Sk's real passion has always been in hip hop, first listening to Cypress Hill and Roots Manuva. He started making his own beats in late 2005, the likes of Jehst, Foreign beggars and Taskforce being a heavy influence. Collaborating with many different producers/mc's/singers around the Bath/Bristol area, (namely Danze Valor, Madcap, and Mistabit) Sk has developed a very personal and recognisable sound, and is determined to further his musical career.
