Formed in early 2008, Six Second Silence are a four piece hard rock band from London. The band was founded by singer/guitarist Jake Leigh after a year of searching for the right musicians. Eventually after many auditions for the ideal members he instantly clicked with local drummer Jason Sayers and Essex bassist Neil Salmon. A short while later Neil introduced the band to his old friend, Nicky Sin , a local talented guitarist and Six Second Silence was born!

Since that point the band have developed into a professional and hardworking band with a blend of Post-Grunge/Heavy Rock/Metal influences. All this results in a huge, refreshing and exciting sound unique to the rock unit.

Six Second Silence are a band not shy of exploring and expanding their sound with huge stadium ballads like ‘Breathe’, to thunderous rock anthems like ‘Awake’ and ‘Underworld’. The band work hard to achieve their very best both on stage and in the studio to bring their explosive energy and charisma out in their music.
